On Thursday evening, the Zahal Disabled Veterans Organization distributed 79 Sports Scholarships to Excelling Athletes and Coaches totaling some NIS 500,000.
\n<\/span>Scholarships were made possible thanks to the generosity and ongoing support of many kind and caring donors.
\n<\/span>Amongst the recipients you can find:
\n<\/span>Moran Samuel, World Champion Rower and Bronze Medalist from the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games;
\nZohar Sharon, Six times straight World Champion for Blind Golfing;
\nShlomo Lazmi, Twice World Champion in Bowling for the Blind
\nVeronica Zwik, former Feather Weight Boxing Champion of Israel, for her promising achievements in Wheelchair Tennis<\/span><\/p>\n
