Es wurde im n\u00f6rdlichen Erholungsort Nahariya auf einem Grundst\u00fcck errichtet, das von Frau Vera Weizmann, der Ehefrau des ersten Pr\u00e4sidenten Israels Dr. Chaim Weizmann, gespendet wurde. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Urspr\u00fcnglich bediente das Zentrum die 6.000 kriegsbesch\u00e4digten Veteranen des Unabh\u00e4ngigkeitskrieges. Nach dem Sechs-Tage-Krieg von 1967 wurde es dem Sanit\u00e4tskorps als Erholungsheim f\u00fcr verwundete Soldaten zur Verf\u00fcgung gestellt.
