Cr\u00e9\u00e9 en 1958, Beit Kay est un centre de repos et de d\u00e9lassement pour les anciens combattants invalides de Tsahal et leurs familles. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 construit au nord de la ville baln\u00e9aire de Naharyia, sur un terrain offert par Mme Vera Weizmann, \u00e9pouse du premier Pr\u00e9sident de l’\u00c9tat d’Isra\u00ebl, feu Dr. Haim Weizmann.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Initialement, le centre servait les 6 000 anciens combattants invalides de la Guerre de
\nl’Ind\u00e9pendance, puis apr\u00e8s la Guerre des Six Jours, il fut mis \u00e0 la disposition des Corps de l’arm\u00e9e m\u00e9dicale pour \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 en maison de repos pour les soldats bless\u00e9s. Au fil des ann\u00e9es, Beit Kay continue d’attirer des milliers d’anciens combattants invalides gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son riche programme d’activit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Aujourd’hui, le centre est compl\u00e8tement adapt\u00e9 aux besoins des handicap\u00e9s, et particuli\u00e8rement des parapl\u00e9giques. Il s’\u00e9tend sur une superficie de 20 000 m2 et comprend des b\u00e2timents de deux \u00e9tages avec 100 chambres d’h\u00f4tes et une salle de cin\u00e9ma. Des pi\u00e8ces de th\u00e9\u00e2tre, des films et de nombreux programmes de loisirs font partie des distractions.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
