Canada’s Ambassador to Israel, Visited Beit Halochem

Amb. Vivian Bercovici, has served as Canada’s Ambassador to Israel since 2014. Haim Bar, Chairman of ZDVO, recently had the pleasure to host her on her first visit to Tel Aviv’s Beit Halochem. During the visit she met with some of the members of the ZDVO and Beit Halochem, amongst them Amnon Sharon, former POW in Syria during the 1973 Yom Kippur War and others who shared with her their story of injury and rehabilitation.
Wheelchair Dancer Humi Prital and his standing dance partner Gal Cucuy performed two dances in her honor. Ambassador Bercovici expressed her admiration for the work of the ZDVO and Beit Halochem for the benefit of its members.
