Im Unterschied zu herkömmlichen Physiotherapie- und Hydrotherapie-Behandlungen, die den Einsatz verschiedener Hilfsmittel mit besonderen Übungen verbinden und von professionellen, ausgebildeten Physiotherapeuten erteilt werden, stellen Individuelle Behandlungen eine einzigartige Dienstleistung dar, die im Beit Halochem im Laufe der Jahre von Therapeuten aus unterschiedlichen Disziplinen, zumeist Absolventen des Fachbereichs Leibesübungen am Wingate-Institut, entwickelt wurden und den sehr schwer Kriegsbeschädigten zugutekommen.
Die Behandlungen zielen auf eine Verbesserung des motorischen und Muskeltonus ab, der infolge von Kopf- und/oder Rückenmarksverletzungen oder Schäden an Gliedmaßen verloren wurde sowie aufgrund von längerem Sitzen in Rollstühlen bei sehr schwer kriegsbeschädigten Veteranen mit 100 % und höherer Behinderung, die keine Übungen in Fitnessräumen durchführen oder mittels herkömmlicher Physiotherapie mit Übungen und Ausrüstung behandelt werden können.Die Behandlungssitzungen finden auf Matratzen statt und umfassen Übungen, die Flexibilität und Bewegungsradius verbessern, Muskeln stärken und Stabilität verbessern.
