Contrairement aux traitements conventionnels de kinésithérapie et d'hydrothérapie qui combinent l'utilisation d'un équipement diversifié et d'un programme d'exercice spécial, dispensés par des physiothérapeutes professionnels et qualifiés, le programme de traitements personnalisés est un service unique développé au fil des années chez Beit Halochem par des thérapeutes de différentes disciplines, principalement diplômés de l'Institut Wingate, et s'adresse aux personnes très griévement handicapées.
Les traitements visent à améliorer la motricité et la tonicité musculaire perdue en raison de blessures à la tête et/ou à la colonne vertébrale ou causés par une immobilisation prolongée en fauteuil roulant pour les vétérans ayant un handicap de 100% et ne pouvant se rendre dans une salle de fitness ou être traités par les traitements conventionnels.
Les séances de traitement se déroulent sur des matelas et comprennent des exercices qui améliorent la flexibilité et la durée du mouvement, renforcent les muscles et améliorent la stabilité.

Beit Halochem Canada, Aid to Disabled Veterans of Israel is a registered Canadian charity that supports the rehabilitation of Israeli disabled veterans and severely injured victims of terror, funds are raised to purchase equipment and run programs at the Beit Halochem Centres throughout Israel. Beit Halochem centers provide therapeutic treatments, sports and recreational facilities, cultural and educational programs, scholarship support, and family-oriented activities to help them resume lives of purpose and dignity. In the United States, FIDV – Beit Halochem [501 (c)(3)] is the only authorized organization whose purpose is to support the rehabilitation of disabled Israeli veterans and victims of terror through the Beit Halochem centers in Israel.
