(Itai Elimelech, member of Israel’s National Wheelchair Basketball Team).

On Thursday evening, the Zahal Disabled Veterans Organization distributed 79 Sports Scholarships to Excelling Athletes and Coaches totaling some NIS 500,000.
Scholarships were made possible thanks to the generosity and ongoing support of many kind and caring donors.
Amongst the recipients you can find:
Moran Samuel, World Champion Rower and Bronze Medalist from the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games;
Zohar Sharon, Six times straight World Champion for Bling Golfing;
Shlomo Lazmi, Twice World Champion in Bowling for the Blind
Veronica Zwik, former Feather Weight Boxing Champion of Israel, for her promising achievements in Wheelchair Tennis

Many more worthy and impressive recipients, each with their respective and unique personal success story.
