Noam Gershoni, piloto de helicóptero Apache, resultó gravemente herido en la segunda guerra del Líbano. Noam, campeón mundial en tenis de sillas de ruedas, conquistó la medalla de oro en los Juegos Paralímpicos de Londres en 2012. Noam fue uno de las 14 personalidades que encendieron la antorcha en el Monte Herzl en la ceremonia oficial de los 70 años de la Independencia de Israel.
