A moving fund raising event was held in Geneva this past Sunday by Amis des Invalides de Tzahal-Geneve. Before an audience of some 300 guests, members of the local theatre troupe “Hamacom” performed the musical “Bustan Sepharadi”, alongside Beit Halochem wheelchair dancer Sammy Dahan (wounded while serving in the Paratroopers Brigade) with his dancing partner, choreographer and instructor Yelena Feitliher. Dan Meir, (a victim of terror who lost his leg at age 9 when a terrorist threw a hand grenade on his family) accompanied the dancers on guitar. Dan also serves as the guitar teacher at Tel Aviv’s Beit Halochem.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards funding a ski delegation of Zahal Disabled Veterans.
Members of “Hamacom” theatre troupe performed on a voluntary basis.
