National Wheelchair Basketball Cup hosted at Beit Halochem Tel Aviv
We are proud to congratulate “Ilan Spivak Tel Aviv” Wheelchair Basketball team
for winning the National Wheelchair Basketball Cup hosted at Beit Halochem Tel Aviv.
Energies were high at Beit Halochem Tel Aviv’s sports hall, filled with cheering audiences from both sides. “Beit Halochem Tel Aviv Gunners” came ready with a passion to win and did not make life easy for the players of “Ilan Spivak Tel Aviv”.

This is the third consecutive year that “Beit Halochem Tel Aviv Gunners” made it to the finals of the National
Wheelchair Basketball Cup. The team in blue, led by coach and player
Alon Dor On, is one of the leading teams in the league and won the Cup Championship in 2019.
Nevertheless, the players of “Ilan Spivak Tel Aviv” gave and amazing show, displaying fast and dynamic basketball and a fighting spirit that rivaled the enthusiasm of “Beit Halochem Tel Aviv Gunners”.
Minister of Culture and Sports Hili Tropper, honored the event with his presence. . Also present at the game were the Chairman of the Paralympic Committee, Dr. Shuki Dekel, Chairman of the Sports for the Disabled Association, Mr. Eli Birenbaum, Head of the Sports Directorate at the Ministry of Culture and Sports, Mr. Ofer Bustan, Chairman of Ilan, CPA Ehud Ratzbi, CEO of the ZDVO, Mr. Avi Lehrman and other distinguished guests.
This month, Ilan Spivak Tel Aviv basketball players will participate in the European Championship for Under-20 teams. We wish them best of luck and hope they will have the same winning spirit as they showed at the game and bring back another cup.
