ZDVF Executive Director’s Message
There are many ways to support Israel, all of them reflect the same moral basis “hakarat Ha’Tov” – acknowledging the kindness received from another – recognizing the great virtue in the existence of this wonderful country which we all care for and which belongs to all of us, Jews the world over.Dear Friends and Supporters,
We feel it is important to provide those of you who are supporters of Zahal Disabled Veterans throughout the years, regular updates about the activities which take place at the Zahal Disabled Veterans Organization and its Beit Halochem centres for the benefit of its members as well as to become more closely acquainted with those wounded heroes thanks to whom the entire Jewish Nation, both in Israel and in the Diaspora, can live safely.
There are many ways to support Israel, all of them reflect the same moral basis “hakarat Ha’Tov” – acknowledging the kindness received from another recognizing the great virtue in the existence of this wonderful country which we all care for and which belongs to all of us, Jews the world over.
The High Holydays is a time for renewal, connecting and knowing our roots, for this purpose I will use a quote by Eli Wiesel z”l who said: “When a Jew visits Jerusalem for the first time, …it is a homecoming”.
Shana Tova to all the Jewish People and to all Jews as well as the non-Jewish supporters of Zahal Disabled Veterans throughout the years – God Bless You.
Dr. Moshe Shemma (Col. Res.)
Executive Director
