Blind Golfer Zohar Sharon won the Italian Open in Rome yesterday and is getting ready for the World Championship which will be held this coming Friday. Zohar is aiming at the unprecedented achievement of being World Champion for Blind Golfing for the seventh consecutive time! We shall keep our fingers crossed.
Zohar was serving in the infantry when he lost his eyesight over thirty years ago during a combat mission.
Together with his caddy and trainer Shimshon Levy, Zohar practices seven hours a day, six days a week.

The ZDVO Beit Halochem accompanies and supports Zohar as he trains and prepares for national, international and world championships.
He is an inspiration to so many!
